Services

Provided consultation for St. Luke’s Healthcare System Stakeholders on best practices to include addition of Elks Rehab healthcare information. Also, provided implementation of the suggested practices.

Background

In 2014, St. Luke’s Health Care System acquired the Elks Rehab System. Elks Rehab System housed five different business units that offered different types of services treatment, and programs, primarily in the area of rehabilitation.

Tasks

St. Luke’s Marketing needed to be able to temporarily configure information and organize an online presence to communicate St. Luke’s ownership of the services, and treatments, offered along with other pertinent information. I consulted with St. Luke’s on best practices to include and combine Elks Rehab healthcare information. I lead the visual design strategy to consolidate and organize the websites that were previously part of the Elks Rehab System.

Results

While two business unit websites primarily remained the same due to the nature of their services, I combined three business units information, St. Luke’s – Elks Rehab (SLER) and Elks Rehab Hospital, and St. Luke’s – Elks Children’s, into one comprehensive and seamless St. Luke’s Rehabilitation website. I was able to display all the programs and services providing a clear concise and organizational hierarchy.

Services

Provided consultation for Harris Ranch Wildlife Mitigation Association (HRWMA) on branding practices to increase public awareness about their organization.

Background

Harris Ranch Wildlife Mitigation Association (HRWMA) is a non-profit organization. The organization was established to mitigate for adverse impacts to wildlife by implementing a management plan for planned communities. They were in need of a brand identity as public awareness about their purpose was minimal.

Tasks

I started by getting an understanding of the organization. Learning about it’s goals, demographics, and target audience. With this information I then started coming up with some concepts.

Results

The final approved logo takes the shape of an image of the wildlife that is not only indigenous to the area but also most affected by the development in the Harris Ranch Area, the pronghorn antelope.

To ensure that Harris Ranch could experience continued success of their brand I created a Graphic Standards Manual for proper, consistent and continued use of their new identity.

Services

Provided documentation and informational graphics displaying patient outcomes and statistics for Elks Rehab Hospital.

Background

The document, or "Report Card", was needed as part of an audit the hospital participates in in order to receive CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Accreditation.

Tasks

I was given Excel spreadsheets containing patient outcome information. I translated the spreadsheets into pie charts and bar graphs in order for the information to have readability and continuity within the document.

Results

The Elks Rehab Hospital met the accreditation standards and received their 2013 CARF Accreditation. CARF accreditation allowed the hospital to maintain their reputation as being the top non-profit rehabilitation provider in the northwest.

Services

Provided an identity/graphic for all collateral and also designed/created a web site for the Annual Creating A Healthy Communities Summit Event.

Background

The Creating A Healthy Community Summit needed an identity along with a simple web site for information, downloabable files and registration portal.

Tasks

I created an identity that translated into print collateral and for the Summit's web site. I then created a simple web site.

Results

An identity for all collateral and a web site that can be utilized for future Summits. Created with HTML5 and CSS3 .
